potentially BULLISH signals
POSITIVE Trend-Line BREAKOUT
The breakout of a trend-line is an event occurs when the stock price of a company surpasses an area that in the past had struggled to overcome. Exceeding this zone may constitute a situation in which the stock price interrupts the direction of the previous trend and prepares to reverse it. Positive breakout occurs when the stock comes from a negative trend and tries to reverse it by starting a positive trend.
Omnicom Group Inc (OMC)
Canopy Growth Corp. (CGC)
ACI Worldwide Inc (ACIW)
Resistance BREAKOUT
The break-out of a resistance is an event that occurs when the stock price continues to rise and exceeds a price level that had previously stopped it by pushing it back, not allowing it to go beyond this level. So when the stock price exceeds this price level it is possible that it will continue its run and continue to grow.
General Electric Co (GE)
Microsoft Corp. (MSFT)
Simple Moving Averages (50-200) BREAKOUT
A simple moving average is formed by the average of the prices recorded in a series of previous sessions. If the price is above a simple 50 (red line) or 200 (black line) period moving average, it means that the stock is a positive trend. Therefore, when the price rises above one of the 2 simple moving averages it is possible that a positive trend will start.
Paycom Software Inc (PAYC)
Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Inc (REGN)
Potentially BEARISH signals
NEGATIVE Trend-Line BREAKOUT
Negative breakout occurs when the stock comes from a positive trend and tries to reverse the direction by starting a negative trend.
QTS Realty Trust Inc (QTS)
Support BREAKOUT
The break-out of a support is an event that occurs when the stock price continues to decrease and exceeds a price level that previously stopped it by pushing it back, not allowing it to go beyond this level. So when the stock price exceeds this price level it is possible that it will continue its run continuing to decrease.
AArons Inc (AAN)
American States Water Co (AWR)
Simple Moving Averages (50-200) BREAKOUT
A simple moving average is formed by the average of the prices recorded in a series of previous sessions. If the price is below a simple 50 (red line) or 200 (black line) period moving average, it means that the stock is a negative trend. Therefore, when the price falls below one of the 2 simple moving averages it is possible that a negative trend will start.
